We produced two models of Gheenoe’s, a 13’ model and a 15’4” model, until 3/13/96 when we produced our first Classic. The Classic model is 15’6” and 11” wider than the hi-siders weighing approximately 100# more. Definitely a model for trailering. This model has been referred to as a mini bass boat. With a very shallow draft and powered by a 25hp outboard, it can obtain speeds in excess of 40 mph.

In the fall of 1996 we introduced our Peenoe line of canoes the first one being a 15’ double-ended paddler. This migrated into a lighter and smaller 11’ double ended paddler, and a 12’ square back rated for a 3.5 HP motor. The reason for the smaller models was an on-going customer request for smaller and lighter models. Today our 11’ model weighs in at 60-65 pounds and the 12’ model is 85 pounds.

During September of 2000 we released for production additional Peenoe models. This includes a 15’11” SportCanoe, 14’ SportBoat model. We also began to build a new Classic the size is 16’1” in length, 52” beam, and a transom 42” wide up to 20” high. The HP rating will be 25.

Starting 9/1/2000 we will only produce the Peenoe line. These will be double-ended paddlers of 11’, 15’8”. Our new and wider Peenoe’s are the K-12’6” SportPeenoe, K-14’ SportBoat, K-15’11” SportCanoe, K-16’1” Classic, and the K-17’4” FlatsBoats. The 17’4” FlatsBoat, will have a 58” beam and a transom width of 48” rated for a 50hp outboard motor. The sides are 17” high from the outrigger to the top of the gunnels which run the length of the boat. We will have various options and internal floor plans available for all of our product line. We offer the 14’, 15’11”,16’1”, and the 17’4” FlatsBoat with an optional Fly/Casting Deck. The Classic and 17’4” are also available with a Center Console.

These new Peenoe models will have a Spider designed “V” style bow for a drier ride as well as higher sides. Accompanying this is a new hull bottom for added stability and space inside the boats. In addition we will be using a combination of Kevlar and Fiberglass materials for tougher, stronger, and increased strength and durability of the hull material. An optional sprayed-on Urethane hull protector for the Gel-coat is offered. This combination increases the toughness of the hulls.

In addition to Top Quality boats, we produce the Spider Hider, a field blind utilizing a Fiberglass one-man layout blind. These are used for wildlife photography, land game as well as waterfowl.

We are very excited about our new materials, and models that will expand and improve our product line. Our goal remains only the highest quality and the latest technology all across our product line. We are not attempting to sell the least expensive product, but continue to strive to give our customers Top Quality, a Great Warranty (3 years), and Fair Pricing in the marketplace.
