• Durability - All hulls are vacuum molded with Kevlar, PVC Core, and Fiberglas, using Epoxy/Vinyl Ester resin. We use Kevlar for puncture resistance not lightness of product. The most vulnerable part of the hull is the gel-coat, therefore we offer a sprayed on urethane bottom protector. This product is similar to truck bedliners that are on the market.
• Flotation - Each Peenoe has flotation foam that is injected after the boat fabrication work is completed. Thus, the expansion is maximum, giving you the full benefit of the flotation, plus additional strength.
• Strength - In addition to the material choices Spider, Inc. uses multiple layers of hand laid mat, plus Kevlar for penetration resistance. All Spider boats have fiberglass mat in the sides, not just chop.
• Stability - Would you sit on the side of your canoe? You could in a Spider Peenoe. Kids can dive off of the side, or you can stand up to fish or shoot when hunting.
• Varity of Models – Canoe style Paddlers are 11’, and 15’8”.
• Square back Models - Sport style Canoes 12’6” and 15’11”will accommodate outboard motors.
• Outboard Boats - Boats are 14’, 16’1” and 17’4” Flats models.
• Fly Fishing Models - The 14’, 15’11”, 16’1”, and 17’4” models are very popular with the Fly Fishing folks as they have a raised deck for fly fishing or casting. These models feature (6) built in rod holders, (2) storage access hatches and a pedestal receiver for a seat. You may even order and optional polling rear deck or platform for push polling. You now have access to very shallow skinny water for Bone, Red fish or Snook on the flats.
• Convenience – Depending on the size your Peenoe can be carried by one or two people, car topped on a small or large vehicle or carried on a trailer. All of the models 14’ and up have a live-well or dry storage for your fish or gear. The live-well has an optional cushion for seating and can be rigged for aeration.
• Warranty - Three years on material and workmanship. Warranty does not cover damage caused by collision with a foreign object, or misuse of the boat or canoe. Carried properly on a trailer is important. Contact Spider Inc. for information as to correctness. Gelcoat color fade due to sun exposure is not covered. (See Warranty Card).
